The service

StorIQ provides rules-based price recommendations for self-storage operators. Recommendations are guidance only — not guarantees of revenue, occupancy, or any business outcome, and not financial or professional advice. You alone decide what rates to set.

Accounts

You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Plan seat caps and facility caps are enforced; exceeding them requires an upgrade or overage fees.

Trial and billing

Plans include a 15-day free trial with no payment method required. Paid subscriptions are billed via Stripe; you may cancel anytime. It is your responsibility to keep billing information current; failed payments may result in suspension.

Refunds

Fees paid are non-refundable. No refund is issued when you cancel your subscription, or when your account is blocked or cancelled by StorIQ (for example, for breach of these terms), unless expressly stated otherwise in writing. No special discounts, credits, or pro-rated refunds are offered.

Acceptable use

You may not abuse the API (rate limits apply), attempt to access other companies' data, resell or sublicense the service without agreement, or use the service for any unlawful purpose.

Intellectual property

The service — including the pricing engine, its rules, methodology, software, and content — is the exclusive property of StorIQ. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the engine's formulas, parameters, or weighting logic. Nothing in these terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you.

Your data and responsibilities

You retain ownership of data you provide and grant us a license to process it to operate the service. You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of data you upload or sync; recommendations are only as good as the inputs provided. You must have the rights to share any data you provide.

Confidentiality

You agree not to disclose non-public aspects of the service, including pricing-engine behavior observed beyond normal use, to any third party.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without notice, for breach of these terms, non-payment, suspected fraud, or abuse of the service. On termination, your right to use the service ends immediately; the Refunds section above applies.

No warranty

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including availability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StorIQ's total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data — including any losses connected to pricing decisions made with or without our recommendations.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless StorIQ against claims arising from your use of the service, data you provide, or breach of these terms.

Changes

We may modify these terms or the service from time to time. Material changes will be communicated with reasonable notice; continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

General

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect. These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and StorIQ regarding the service.
